Bioneedling is a skin treatment that uses natural micro-needles to stimulate skin regeneration, collagen, and elastin production while also enhancing the delivery of active ingredients from serums that would otherwise struggle to penetrate the skin barrier.

When microspicules enter the skin, the body recognizes them as a micro-foreign body, a micro-injury and a form of mechanical stress. This activates a controlled skin repair and defense response: spicules penetrate the stratum corneum, microcirculation increases, keratinocytes and fibroblasts become activated, and skin remodeling begins. The skin gradually expels the spicules through natural epidermal turnover.

This is why people may experience tingling, prickling, or a 'micro-needle' feeling for up to 24–72 hours after treatment. Properly formulated spicules are not intended to create major trauma — only short-term stimulation, activation of repair, and accelerated renewal. The result: improved firmness, smoother texture, the 'glass skin' effect, and far better absorption of actives.
